This month we’re able to announce that we’ve achieved the highly regarded “Microsoft Solutions Partner for Infrastructure (Azure)” designation, adding to the “Microsoft Solutions Partner for Modern Work” designation we achieved way back in our early days of business in 2022.

This latest accreditation is a sign of our continued investment in technical excellence and customer success – and basically shows that we’ve got a bloody good relationship with Microsoft when it comes to working with our clients on their Azure platform.

We’ve always prided ourselves on our competence with Microsoft products – starting with the Microsoft Silver Partner status we achieved back in 2021, shortly after the company was formed.

Together, the two designations essentially demonstrate our proven capabilities across the technology giant’s widely used cloud solutions and recognise our ability to meet rigorous standards, technical expertise, customer success and ongoing skills development.

Designations are achieved by accruing points that make up a “capability score” measured by Microsoft across performance, skilling and customer success. In fact, it takes a small army of staff to have gained qualifications and put the hours into working on Microsoft infrastructure projects to reach this milestone. So, here’s a lovely shot of the team responsible for our Designation looking happy and proud . . . before we gently force them back their workstations to immerse themselves in all things Microsoft once more.

For our customers – which include the likes of Northumbrian Water Group, ClearData, Tombola and Beamish Museum – the accreditations provide independent assurance that we possess the technical capability and proven experience to design, deploy and support complex Microsoft cloud environments. The enhanced partner relationship also unlocks a range of

benefits that directly support customer projects, including access to increased commercial and technical support, pilot deployments and trial environments from Microsoft.

Atom Technical Director, Leon Hughes, comments:

“This is another significant milestone for Atom and reflects the commitment our team has made to continuously developing their technical skills and delivering exceptional outcomes for customers.

“We’re proud to be joining just a handful of North East-based MSPs carrying both designations – particularly given that we are still a young business, having been established in 2021.”

“Our relationship with Microsoft enables us to give our clients enhanced support and development capabilities – which otherwise wouldn’t be available.”

In the coming months we expect to be able to announce another landmark accreditation – a Microsoft Solutions Designation for AI. As Leon says,

“AI is the biggest growth area in technology at this point in time. We have made significant investment in developing our teams’ expertise in this area so that we are able to help our clients to adopt and develop AI solutions that will enhance productivity, efficiency and innovation.

“Over the coming months, we will be completing a number of projects with clients in retail, education and utilities that are designed to improve service delivery and enhance security.”

So watch this space.
